Scott advises attorneys on sophisticated firm-to-firm lateral moves and in-house transitions, drawing on more than 25 years of experience counseling clients across a broad range of industries and market sectors. His practice is informed by a deep understanding of both the legal profession and the strategic considerations that drive career-defining decisions.
Prior to co-founding Turner Brown, Scott spent a decade in private practice, where he represented individuals and businesses in complex matters spanning bankruptcy, business formation and operations, employment and labor law, general civil litigation, and real estate transactions and related disputes.

Scott received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Michigan State University; his Juris Doctor from Howard University School of Law; and his Masters in Health Services Administration from the George Washington University.
